Eloïse Demay (Soprano) studied Psychology at Durham University where she was awarded the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship for Music, performing extensively as both a singer and a trumpeter. As a member of Trinity Girls Choir, she recorded solos at Abbey Road Studios for Disney, and she now sings with The Merbecke Choir at Southwark Cathedral, Ovis Cantorum and Cirrus Voices.
Matilda Noble (Soprano) began singing at the age of six when she was a student at the British International School in Berlin. She recently graduated from the University of York and sings with the BBC Symphony Chorus, Ovis Cantorum and Cirrus Voices and as a choral scholar with Dorking Choral Society. She recently performed as a soloist in Haydn’s The Creation as part of the Leith Hill Festival.
Alexandra Persinaru (Mezzo-soprano) was a member of the National Youth of Choir of Great Britain and sang in operas at English National Opera and for Garsington Opera as a child. She studied at the University of Manchester, where she was a member of the chamber choir Ad Solem, and now enjoys a versatile reputation as a singer, appearing as a jazz singer at venues such as Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, while being a founder member of Cirrus Voices.
Charlie Davies (Counter-tenor) was a choral scholar at Keble College, Oxford, where he studied engineering. His professional music portfolio is divided between singing with various groups, including the choir of St John the Baptist, Holland Park, and Cirrus Voices, and work as a keyboard player in the jazz and funk styles. Recent projects include the world premiere of Anna Semple’s ‘The Heavenly Beings’ as a singer and a recording at Abbey Road with Jans Collective Band on keyboards.


Joshua Kenney (Tenor) was a choral scholar at Merton College, Oxford, and a lay clerk in the choir of Magdalen College. He graduated with a First in Music and now works as a consort and solo singer. He has performed as a soloist in Mozart’s Requiem with QNK.ÓPERA (Spain), Purcell on Danish Radio, Bach’s St John Passion at the Barbican with the Britten Sinfonia, and as choral soloist in Peter Grimes at the St Endellion Festival. He was a prize winner in the 2023 Mendl–Schrama Prize in Music.
Saul Packer (Tenor) studied Modern and Medieval Languages at Cambridge, where he sang in the choir of Pembroke College, making tours to Canada and the USA and appearing in the BBC Proms. During a study year in France, he continued to sing as a member of the Academy of the Choir of the Orchestra of Paris. Since graduation, Saul has performed as a singer with various choirs, including Ovis Cantorum and Cirrus Voices, and in orchestras as a versatile percussionist.

William Gardner (Bass) is an award-winning composer and singer. He graduated with First-Class Honours in composition from the Royal Academy of Music and completed the Opera Makers MA at Guildhall School of Music & Drama with distinction. His three operas have been staged at the Susie Sainsbury Theatre, the Britten Theatre, Milton Court Studio Theatre, and the Cockpit Theatre. His second opera, The Prisoner, won the Stephen Oliver Award in 2023. He frequently appeared as a soloist with Trinity Boys Choir and now sings professionally with Cirrus Voices.

Alexander Lee (Bass) made his debut as a soloist at the age of ten when he sang the role of the Shepherd Boy in Wagner’s Tannhäuser at The Royal Opera House. He studied at Durham University, where he was awarded the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship for Music. University performances included titular roles in Mendelssohn’s Elijah and Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas. Alexander now sings with the Phoenix Consort, Cirrus Voices and the choir of St Martin-in-the-Fields, London.
