David Swinson is a dynamic choir director and versatile keyboard player. He has worked in opera, films, radio and TV and in both the classical and pop genres.
About
Choir Director, Organist and Pianist
David enjoys a busy freelance career, directing amateur and professional choirs and performing as an organist and pianist. He has many years experience working with choirs of all ages and sizes and in a variety of settings, including opera, recording studies, TV and radio. He has given concerts as an organist throughout Europe and in the US and is in demand as an accompanist.

Choirs
David directs two amateur choirs, three professional choirs, runs choral workshops and frequently appears as a guest conductor.
David made his reputation as Director of the world famous Trinity Boys Choir, which he ran for twenty-three years. He continues his association with the choir as Director Emeritus.
His portfolio includes two amateur choral societies in Surrey, two London based professional chamber choirs and a small 'A Cappella' group.

Organist
Multiple prize winner at the Royal College of Music and former Organ Scholar at Jesus College, Cambridge
David studied with John Birch and David Sanger and has received numerous accolades as an organist, including a Scholarship from the Countess of Munster Music Trust. Recital venues include King's College, Cambridge, Westminster Cathedral, St. John the Divine, New York, Oliwa Cathedral, Poland, and many more throughout Europe. He has appeared on BBC Radio and on many recordings as both a soloist and accompanist.
